Nautical personality type is INTP, so he would be an INTP. I think that's a great fit.
I also have no doubt that he would be a great writer, because I know him very well and he is constantly coming up with ideas for new stories. He is a genius when it comes to the story world he creates, so I am sure he would put a lot of effort into the story.
I want the story in the form of a book. I don't want it to be a webcomic, because I think it will be better if it is in full-color. I also think that having it as a book would be better as well.
