Альт (Alt) personality type is ENTP, so the fact that we are not having to "change" our personality type to match the environment does not make us "less smart" or "less creative" in any way. Our cognitive functions allow us to function in very different environments, and we would have a hard time changing those functions if we needed to. Aside from that, our cognitive functions are not the "core of who we are". The core of our being is the feeling we have inside, and the way we express that feeling, which is to say, the way we act.
This puts us in a very different situation than say, a Ti-Ne-Si-Fe personality type. These types are more naturally "introverted" (Ti) or "extroverted" (Ne) at their core, and so they tend to have a much harder time with changes in their environment or the need to adapt to it. This can actually lead to serious issues at times, as many of these types suffer from over-adaptation and stress when dealing with changes in their environment.
