Pan personality type is ENFP, which is good because I like people, and being an ENFP, I tend to make friends easily. But this isn’t a good reason. It’s also not because I’m popular or have lots of friends. It’s because people like me.
When I was in high school, I was like the cool kid, but not the typical cool kid. The kids who were popular usually didn’t like me, so I didn’t hang out with them. Instead, I hung out with the cool, nerdy kids, even though I wasn’t super nerdy myself. I wasn’t boy crazy, either. I had several boyfriends in high school, but none of them were my first choice. In fact, none of them were even my second choice. I had a lot of crushes on girls, but they all ended up being one-sided.
I don’t think I really fit the stereotype of an ENFP: the geeks who don’t care about anyone else. I didn’t sit home on the weekends reading books and writing papers.
