What I’ve realized about myself since I moved to San Francisco is that I am a person who likes to live in the moment. This is not a characteristic that is conducive to long term planning. When your life is about planning, you have to think about what you will do with your life, long term. You have to think about where you will live, what you will do, you have to think about your health, your finances, your family, your job. You have to think about these things and then you have to plan. But when you live in the moment and live in the “here and now”, it is more about recognizing what is going on around you and enjoying the experience.
I am an ESTP and so are my friends. That is why we can easily switch from one topic of conversation to another topic of conversation. We are constantly on the move. I don’t want to get stuck in one place and I don’t want to get stuck in one thought.
