What is the personality type of Elrond? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Elrond from Lord Of The Rings & The Hobbit and what is the personality traits.
Elrond personality type is INTJ, so logically, he would be INTJ, right?
Well, not so much. While he is an INTJ, I would say he does not have the same relationship to it as many INTJs do. He is very much a leader, but he is far more detached from everything than most INTJs are.
Let’s start with the big reason why I believe that he is not an INTJ. For one thing, he is not that much into theory. He is not interested in theories about the nature of the world or the nature of human nature. He doesn’t seek to understand why something is the way it is, he just accepts it as it is. He does not make judgements or draw conclusions about things he sees or observes, he observes them and makes no generalizations about them. He sees things as they are, for their own sake, and doesn’t categorize or compare them to one another.
Although he takes on the role of a leader and tries to lead people, he is not interested in power for its own sake.
Elrond was the half-elven son of Eärendil and Elwing, the father of Arwen, and the Lord of Rivendell who consistently fought against Sauron throughout the Second and Third Ages.
