Floot Fly personality type is INFP, and I am INFP. My main concern is that the two clans are not meant to be opposed. So, for the INFPs, the Fi versus Te battle is supposed to be an extension of the Fi vs Te battle within each clan. It’s just that because Te and Fi are not directly opposed, the Fi vs Te battle becomes something different: it becomes a test of Fi’s ability to be a good Fi. If Fi is not able to be a good Fi, it will fall into Te and the world will fall under its shadow.
I can’t tell you how many times I have seen Fi pitted against Te, or Fi pitted against Se. The idea of Fi being pitted against Te is completely wrong, because the way I see it, Fi is a part of Te. It’s like trying to take away a part of your own body. This is why I always say that when Fi and Te are “in competition” or “in conflict” or “in opposition”, it’s like two different things.
