The Conflicted personality type is INFJ, type 6. This type is the rarest of the sixteen types in the Myers Briggs personality inventory, occurring in 1 in every 3,300 individuals (1).
The INFJ personality type is one of four competing patterns of thinking that make up the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The other three competing patterns of thinking are known as the Observer, the Director, and the Commander.
Like all the other personality types, INFJs have preferences that are highly individualized and unique to them. INFJs are a little more likely to be introverted than their extroverted counterparts. They are also likely to have strong ethical principles, but they are also very adaptable and flexible in how they apply their principles.
INFJs are not concerned with being right. They are instead concerned with being fair and just. To them, it is more important to be just than to be right.
INFJs place great importance on their relationships. They want their relationships to reflect mutual value and respect, but they also like to show their own value to people through their relationships as well.
