For me, this means that I tend to take care of people who are not good at taking care of themselves.
I have always had a hard time asking people for help.
So when I was a teenager, I decided to be a leader so that I wouldn’t need to rely on others for my own support.
My mom was an ESFJ and so was my dad, which made me want to be like her.
But instead of supporting me, she started criticizing me for not being assertive enough.
I began to think that I would never be able to do something on my own.
Because of this, I became very cautious about taking risks and trying new things.
I thought I would always be stuck in the same place doing the same thing over and over again.
