INFPs are often depicted as people who want to help people and make the world a better place. And ENTPs are usually depicted as people who want to break the world. That's how a lot of fiction portrays them. However, I believe that there's a good deal of overlap between the two. Both types are very similar when it comes to their ideals and goals. INFPs are driven by their morals and values, and ENTPs are driven by their knowledge and intellect.
What's interesting is that many people who don't know much about either type identify with the other type more than they do with their own type. Lots of people who think they're ENTPs are actually INFPs. And vice versa. It's not hard to see why: both types have a tendency to go out of their way to make the world a better place.
