Yuu is a quiet, calm, and intelligent person, but he does not like to hang out with others and prefers to read books and listen to music. He is extremely polite and always speaks with a proper Japanese accent. He is very polite to strangers and gives them a wink when he meets them. He also likes to make jokes about people if he thinks they are being rude or if one of his friends are being mean to them. He is very skilled at fencing, and makes Yuuri a fencing instructor in the same way that Mao makes Yuuri a fencing coach. Yuuri has an interest in the supernatural, having been shown to have a casual interest in working with ghosts. Though he is usually quiet, Yuuri's soft voice can be used to his advantage. He can easily confuse people by his voice and use it to his advantage. He is one of the only people in the group who does not seem to be afraid of ghosts.
