On his home world he was the second-in-command under his father, who was in charge of the Aurum System. He had been trained in the arts of war, and was a prodigy. He had graduated at a very young age with honors, which set him apart from most people. He was also a natural leader, and was able to inspire others to rise to their full potential.
Aurum eventually became the leader of the Aurum System. However, he was very different from his father, who had been a strict and serious man. While he wanted to make his people happy, he was not a warm person. He often ignored them, and never truly knew what they thought of him; he viewed them as tools and subordinates at best, and at worst as enemies.
Aurum's father was so focused on his work that he never really saw his daughter, who was very outgoing and loving.
