He can keep his emotions under tight control and he can seem to be cold and detached, but in reality he is just keeping everything inside. Blake is a master of keeping his emotions under wraps and he uses this ability to maintain his composure in a situation when he might otherwise be overwhelmed with the stress of having to take charge and lead.
The best way to understand the ISTJ way is by looking at their typical day. At work, they work hard, concentrate on their work and are focused on the task at hand. Blake does not get sidetracked by other people and does not let people in his life distract him from what he needs to do.
