“My dad was a movie critic, so I could go to the theater whenever I wanted, and that was when I was young,” said Malone. “I fell in love with the glamour of Hollywood and everything, I wanted to be a part of that.”
Malone worked for several years as a TV commercial actor in Los Angeles, and then spent the better part of a decade working in New York City, in the entertainment industry, as a manager and producer.
“I was living in New York City and working for a casting director, and I applied to be an extra on a movie,” said Malone. “I ended up getting cast in the movie, and I had no idea what I was doing, but it didn’t matter. I was just happy to be doing something. It was kind of serendipitous.”
Malone starred in the movie “The Last Kiss” with Jeff Daniels and “Free Enterprise” with James Woods.
