Then, in this chapter, Travis found out that his mother was sick. The chapter is called "Mother," and the chapter title is "Mother."
I don't know how I feel about this. It's a little too much, but I guess if it's a recurring theme in the book, then it makes sense.
The next chapter is called "Father," and in it, his father tries to get Travis to let go and stop thinking about the past.
This chapter made me think about how I deal with emotions. When I get emotional, everyone around me gets emotional. I don't want to get emotional. I don't want people to get emotional around me.
The author talks about how Travis starts to get mad at his father for not understanding him.
This reminded me of how I get mad at my dad for not understanding me. My mom says, "It's okay, Travis, he wants what's best for you.
