Wuyi Da Hong Pao personality type is ISTP, and that is one of the reasons why I started this blog. This is one of the most interesting and difficult personality types to understand.
In this post I will be talking about what ISTP is, and I will be making a case for why ISTP is in the EXFP type and not the ISTJ type.
First let’s get into a little bit of theory and see if we can get a bigger picture of this type.
First, ISTP is a function stack. Just like Ne, Fi and Si are functions, so is Ni, Se and Ti. In this type, Ni and Se are in charge of managing the functions and Ti is in charge of their production.
Ni is in charge of giving out information to Si, whereas Se is in charge of giving out information to Ti.
In addition to that, ISTP is also a point stack. Like Te and Fe are points, so is Ti and Fe. In this type, Ti is in charge of producing points while Fe is in charge of producing functions.
Now we can see why ISTP is an EXFP type. The functions in his stack are Si and Ti, which are both extraverted.
