It is also not surprising that the writers did not have too much difficulty coming up with the flushing storyline. The writers could have chosen any of a number of other plots that would have worked just as well, or perhaps even better.
To make it more interesting, the writers could have made the story about a different character, one with a different personality type. What if they had written the story about an INTJ? Or an INFP? Would the plot have worked better then? The possibilities are endless.
What’s Wrong with the Flushing Plot?

Well, the main story of Flushed Away is that Dennis is turned into a pug and is shipped where he lives in a sewer. What if the main story was about Dennis being taken to the city and being dumped into a sewer? It would be just as interesting but it would be less confusing.
