In my mind, it’s all or nothing. If I have to do something, I will do it. I don’t want to waste time or energy, but I also don’t want to be caught off guard or unprepared when an important event happens.” Tomoe is going to be too busy to settle down and find a boyfriend for now. She wants to be focused on her career as a civil servant and her work in the community. She does have things she would like to do, like writing and being in her band. At the moment, though, she says she is not interested in looking for a new boyfriend. “I am very focused on my studies and my career, but the one thing I would like to do is travel,” says Tomoe. “I would like to go to India and see the Taj Mahal.”
