Ashera is a calm and collected child who is always friendly and polite, willing to listen and compromise rather than force her will. She is shy and gentle and usually keeps to herself, though she's often found eavesdropping on others' conversations around her. She also seems to have a love of reading and is a very good student, although she has a short attention span and can be difficult to follow when concentrating on something. Her shyness can be interpreted as her being insecure, but it is more likely that she doesn't speak up because she is afraid of being laughed at. She's very good friends with Lulu and is like a big sister to her.
Ashera's personality evolves throughout Tales of Graces F, but she remains the same in her first appearance. In Tales of Graces F, she is still shy but far more outgoing, as she's able to make more friends.
