Asako personality type is ENFP, which represents a less confrontational, more creative and more extroverted version of the INTP.
I also find it interesting that Jung’s understanding of the importance of “excessive introversion” in the development of personalities that are extroverted and introverted in equal measure, hinges on his understanding of introverts as being “more” introverted, or, as he puts it, “more withdrawn”.
That said, both types have a marked preference for independent or solitary activities over those requiring social interaction. Introverts tend to be more “inwardly focused”, and extroverts more “outwardly focused”.
In addition, extroverts are more likely to be outgoing and sociable, while introverts are more likely to be quiet and reserved.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that extroverts are never introspective or introverted. But they are usually more on the extroverted side of the spectrum.
Furthermore, an extrovert is likely to be more interested in external events, while an introvert is likely to be more interested in internal events.
