One of the reasons why we see so many INTP’s in churches is because they tend to be the ones that are most attracted to the ideas of “true spirituality.” They are the ones that are most attracted to the idea that they would be better off if they could just have a “real relationship with God.” They are the ones that are most attracted to the idea that they need to follow a certain set of rules in order to be good enough.
One of the reasons why we see so many INFP’s in atheist communities is because they tend to be the ones that are most attracted to the idea that there is no real point to following any particular set of rules and that everyone can be treated as equals in their eyes.
