Ayana Fujisawa personality type is ISFP, and that was one of the first things I learned in my MBTI class. That’s not to say she’s using the ISFP as a crutch, but the ISFP is a fairly dominant personality type, which means it’s easier to identify with her than other types and her actions are very much in line with that.
Another one of the things I loved about yuri was the representation of the romantic relationship. For example, when Ayano and Seika were at the pool, they were holding hands and giggling like two girls would do. When Ayano kissed Seika, she was clearly intoxicated, but they were in a romantic relationship. They were also shown cuddling at the end of their relationship, which is pretty common with lovers. I also enjoyed how their romance was portrayed as a bit awkward for both of them. When Ayano was trying to kiss Seika at the beach, she called her “Sekka” (撫子) instead of Seika, which is a common nickname for younger sisters. It was cute because it showed how awkward she felt about her feelings for her.
