Fleur de Mort personality type is ENFP, so she’s a bit of a weirdo and a maverick and a bit of a rebel. I liked the way she was portrayed in the first book in the series, but that was a while ago and I didn’t realize just how much her personality had changed by the time I met her in The Silver Falcon. She’s definitely a lot less socially awkward than she was before.
Mara is a bit more on the shy side, so she’s easy to be drawn in to, but she’s also very self-conscious about her looks. She’s a pretty moderate character.
The plot is fairly straightforward and moves along at a fairly decent pace. I was entertained by it and felt that it kept my interest, but I also got bored from time to time.
I enjoyed the story and I thought that the characters were well written, but I wasn’t particularly drawn to them for various reasons. I think that this was a good book for an introduction to the series, but I don’t think that I would have read it if it hadn’t been for the review copy.
