Twyla personality type is INTJ, so I'm going to be writing from that perspective.
INTJs are often called the "Idiot Savants" because of their unique ability to process massive amounts of information. They are not the most charismatic people, and can often seem to lack emotional depth.
They are often the ones who can read a book that has thousands of pages, or watch an entire season of a TV show in a single sitting, without getting bored. This can be incredibly impressive when you consider that most people average about 7 or 8 books or shows, at a time.
INTJs are usually very logical people who can often see things no one else can see. They are excellent at finding patterns, and often make lists out of their observations. They are excellent at understanding how things work, but will often be less than impressed with how things are used. They are not usually drawn to things that are considered "frivolous" or "girly".
These characteristics can come from having such a strong intellect, but they can also be a way of protecting themselves from the hurtful nature of life.
