Z personality type is INTJ, which stands for Intuitive Thinking Judging. They're the rarest personality type in the world; there are only about 400-800 of them. And they tend to be very independent and they're very curious, they like to solve puzzles and they like to understand things.
And so, in the US military, they have this saying: "In the military, we have an answer for everything," and that's true for most of the jobs in the military. It's not true in this area. The US military doesn't have a solution for everything. It's not a black-and-white world where there's an answer for everything. So we're used to dealing with ambiguity and we're used to dealing with uncertainty, and that's one of the reasons why we're in the business of counterterrorism. We deal with it every day.
And so, as part of my job, I'm out there trying to figure out, how do we deal with this kind of uncertainty? How do we deal with the ambiguous world? And there are many agencies that are in that business, but I focus on it.
