Guru personality type is INTJ, and I do think that Myers-Briggs is a very accurate measure of personality types. I’m not saying that if someone is an INTJ, they are a Guru or vice versa.
But it’s fun to imagine that you could be the kind of person who wants to create a social network for pets, or a guide on the future of work. It’s fun to imagine that you could be the kind of person who sees the need for a new kind of language and new ways of expressing information.
It’s fun to imagine that you could be the kind of person who wants to make the world a better place.
And the people who are most likely to be in your type are the ones who are most likely to be doing something great.
That said, it’s important to remember that being a Guru personality type doesn’t mean you will have all the answers or be able to build a successful career as one. A lot of people work hard and still fail. But that’s what makes it fun: you never know what’s around the corner.
