The ISFJ personality is a big part of why I am the way I am today. It is a fact that I was raised with family who were very supportive of me, but also were critical of my faults. It was not until I was able to understand myself that I realized how much of what I had been told about myself was a lie. I had been groomed to believe that I was not good enough, and that it was my fault that I was not good enough. I had been told that if I did not do well in school, or if I did not make the A team, then I was a failure. What I found out is that none of that was ever true.
I have always been a high achiever. In school I was an A student. In college, I got straight A’s. I have a degree in Psychology and have worked as a counselor and a psychologist.
