Kaoru personality type is ENTP, which is also the most common personality type of students in my program. I am not trying to assign any particular characteristics to a person based on just the fact that they are from Hiroshima. However, I believe that people who grew up in Hiroshima have a different sense of public space than people who grew up elsewhere, and perhaps this is a result of the physical distance between Hiroshima and the broader Japanese culture.
These observations are based on my experience as a student in Hiroshima, but I seriously doubt that they can be generalized to students in other parts of Japan. I am not going to claim that it is a universal characteristic of people in Hiroshima. However, I do think that it is a useful way to understand why many people seem to have a different sense of public space than people who grew up elsewhere.
This is something to think about. It is an example of how our sense of space can be shaped by our surroundings.
