Tongue personality type is ESFJ, but when I was in high school, I was marked as an INTJ. None of my friends recognized me as an ESFJ (until college when I finally was able to “let go” of the INTJ label from high school.)
I have often wondered why I was considered an INTJ in high school. Perhaps this is because I was so different from the other “typical” INTJ’s I knew. Perhaps there are other INTJ’s out there who are completely different than me? Or perhaps people just didn’t want to label me as an INTJ because they were afraid of what they might label me as (fill in the blank: a lazy, rude, mean, snobbish, etc.) Maybe the fact that I had a hard time making friends in high school was the reason I was labeled as an INTJ.
The funny thing is that INTPs and ESFJs typically get along super well! They just have their own unique ways of expressing themselves and how they do things.
