Ellis is a very talented singer who has always had a very big vision for her career. She wanted to become a music mogul who could help other artists and people who have gone through similar situations as she did. She wanted to help stop the cycle of abuse and help other people who don't have her extensive resources. She wants to help people with mental health issues, addiction and homelessness, which is why she decided to start her foundation The Ellis House.
After her husband (who was not involved in the abuse) died, she became depressed, started smoking and drinking heavily (which she has now stopped).
