Sarlacc personality type is ISTP, which is one of the five cognitive functions. (I had to look this up and I'm not sure how I feel about that. ISTP is one of the functions that is best suited for computers and writing, which is how I got hooked on the concept in the first place.) Anyway, since I'm an ISTP, it's not too difficult for me to relate to him.But there's still another aspect to this character that I really like: his relationship with his family. In this book, he's the oldest of three and has two older brothers and a younger sister. All his brothers are competitive and have a game going where they try to be mean to him. His little sister is just a little kid who loves him no matter what, even though he has a tendency to be kind of mean to her. The dynamics of this family are very interesting and I can't wait to find out more about them in the next book.In addition to the interesting family relationships, this book is also filled with comedy and quirkiness. The tone of the book is very light and that's totally fine with me. It's not a heavy, dark book like a lot of YA books are.
