Duracrete Slug personality type is ISFP, or the “Artist.” It’s a shame to see the name of this slinger changed to “Solid” in the toy line, as it is a more accurate description of the character. Its original name evokes the image that it is a block of concrete, rather than something organic and living.
The Slug is made up of two main parts: a head and a body. The head is made up of brown, rectangular plates that come together in the middle, which allows the character to transform into either a humanoid or a slug-like form. The head can be detached from the body, allowing it to be used as a weapon.
The Slugs were developed by Dr. Ivo Robotnik, ruler of the evil planet Metal City. Each Slug is capable of creating a force field that can protect itself from attack. Slugs are also equipped with a powerful laser attack weapon, which can be fired from either arm.
The Metal Sonic toy line was produced by Tomy, who has also released Sonic toys under the license of Sega, another video game company. Metal Sonic toys were released in 1986, and were discontinued around 1995.
