Jasper personality type is ESFP, ESTP or ENTP, and that's just fine. The fundamental philosophical orientation of the SP personality type is an interesting one. It's an extremely broad-based approach to life, and although the type doesn't typically have a lot of depth, it's in the details where the type shines. In general, the SP is open-minded and flexible, and as such I've found that when my SP friends tell me "those details don't matter," I tend to get a little irritated. Those details are what make a huge difference in the world.
I'm not trying to say that the SP personality type doesn't have weaknesses. Indeed, we all have weaknesses, and there are many good reasons why an ESFP, ESTP or ENTP might choose to change the way they think or feel. But that said, the SP personality type is still an interesting one, and it's worth exploring in more detail.
The SP Archetype
The SP personality type is in many ways just like the ISTJ archetype. However, the SP is also very different from the ISTJ archetype. Where the ISTJ is fairly grounded and practical, the SP is highly imaginative, creative and often even dreamy and idealistic.
