He takes Elizabeth Swann, a young woman on the ship, to a cabin and asks her to tend to his wound. The next morning, Elizabeth wakes up in the cabin to find an older man standing in front of her. He sits down at the table and greets her. He introduces himself as Captain Nemo, but Elizabeth is more interested in the name of the ship he's been captaining for years. He tells her it's the Nautilus, and Elizabeth asks him if he's ever been to London. He says he has, several times in fact. He asks her if she has ever been to London, and Elizabeth says yes. She asks him how many times, and he tells her that was not important. He then tells her he'll take her to London, because she can help him find something out.
