The word “Introvert” in the above definition is my personal favorite. I like to think of myself as an introvert, although my husband would say otherwise. A quick Google search will give you the definitions, but in general it means that I prefer my own company to that of others. This is true; however, when I am in “alone” mode, I prefer to be with others. I am typically an outgoing person when in my “out” mode. When in “alone-mode” it doesn’t matter who is around me, I am content to be alone. This is one of the reasons I love to read, write and create art.
I also like to spend time in nature, although I prefer to be physically inside with my books or art supplies. I love to hike and bike ride, but I don’t like to do either during the summer months for fear of getting too hot. I can endure extreme heat, but my body doesn’t like to.
