INTJ???? personality type is INTJ, not INTP. This is a huge misdiagnosis and a very common one, and it has a HUGE impact on my life. I have been dealing with this for almost 6 years and have been in therapy for about 4 years. The INTP personality type is actually a lot less rare than many think, INTP is only shared with another 3% of the population, and the higher you go up the hierarchy the less common it becomes. I have been told by my therapist, and by others, that my type is much more common, but no one has ever been able to give me a number. I don’t know where they got the idea that INTP is very rare, I’m not sure how they came to that conclusion, but it’s unlikely that it is true.
A lot of people think that INTPs are introverted, which they aren’t, they are actually very extroverted. INTPs are not introverted at all. They are actually one of the most extroverted personality types. They are very friendly, outgoing and outgoing in general.
