Nadir personality type is INTJ, which is an INTJ and I think there are some INTJ's, like me, who are actually introverts. 'I know that this is not a common view but it's true for me.
Narcissists in particular are notorious for being the lone wolves. They wish to be left alone and yet they crave attention. They tend to be the ones who withdraw from social gatherings and enjoy solitude, while still wanting to feel important and in control of their environment.
It is also possible that this is even more common than we know. It may be that we are more aware of it because we grow up around people who are more extroverted. Or maybe it's because we as society have become more comfortable with introverts. Or maybe it's just because introverts are more willing to be open about it. I don't know.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that introverts are not necessarily shy or quiet people, but they do have different needs than extroverts, and sometimes they find that they are not being met by their environment.
