"Do you go to school here?" she asked, as she stepped back and looked around the room more intently.
"No, I go to a school in Boston. I'm homeschooled."
She looked at me in surprise. "Really? That's so cool! How old are you?"
"I'm fourteen." I told her.
"Wow, you're so young." She said, sounding like she didn't believe me. "You must have a really nice family."
"Yeah," I nodded. "I have a great family." I didn't mention that my family wasn't all that great, though. They were actually pretty selfish and horrible, and they did a lot of things that were kind of wrong. I didn't want to talk about it with this girl, though.
