My mother is a Perceiver and my brother who is a year older than me is a Judger.
The thing that puzzles me about my family is that my father, who is not particularly extroverted and does not talk much even to his closest friends, does not seem to have any problem with the fact that he married Perceiving woman and is raising 2 children with her.
On the other hand, my mother does not like being married (she was engaged twice) and has a very difficult time in her marriage. She often tells me that she wishes she had never married my father and wishes that he would just disappear and leave her alone.
I think she is very unhappy in her marriage, but she can't seem to muster up the courage to divorce him.
I know this makes me sound really insensitive, but I really do love her very much and I have always been very respectful of her feelings and her wishes. I try very hard to understand her point of view and respect it without judging her.
