Rich Texan personality type is ESTP, but I feel that all of us are in some way Texan or have Texas in us. The only two people I've ever met who aren't Texan are a couple of people from New Jersey. If you're not, you're not Texan.
The stereotype of the Texan is that they are big, strong men who are in love with their own strength. I think that's a fair assessment of a few Texans, but most Texans are not like this, and I can't remember a time when I've been around a Texan who wasn't a little on the goofy side. The stereotype of the cowboy, though, is more accurate. He's a solitary character, a loner, a man of few words. In the old west, the cowboy was a lone traveler on a great plain, seeking out adventure and romance. In modern times, the cowboy is more likely to be found with his cattle or his horses, or with his hunting dogs.
In some ways, those of us who live in Texas can be a bit like a cowboy on a great plain. We're a lot less likely to talk a lot of trash about other people than people from other parts of the country.
