Hunter personality type is ESFP, but with some FJ in it. This can be seen if you read the book, "Myers-Briggs and You" by Isabel Myers and her mother Katharine Briggs, who wrote the first descriptions of the 16 personality types in 1955. The Myers-Briggs type descriptions are a little different, but the idea is the same.
Isabel Myers was a student of Carl Jung's, and her mother was also a student of Jung's. The Myers-Briggs personality type descriptions are based on Jung's theory, which is based on his observations of people he had known over the course of his life.
Jung described four states of awareness:
Extraversion: This is the state most people are familiar with, when they are being extraverted and outgoing. We are all extraverts at one time or another. However, some people are more extraverted than others.
Introversion: This is the state of being introverted. People who are introverts have a tendency to be quiet and reserved. They are often secretly brilliant and creative. They have an inner focus that makes them good at being alone.
