I'm still undecided about whether I want to make a hexagon dress or a square one, but I'm very happy with how this one turned out!
I used a pattern from the Hexagon Dress Sewing Pattern Book by Ginny Glasser. I really love the pattern and fabric that Ginny uses in her patterns, as it's so much easier to see what you're making as you sew.
As soon as I got the dress cut out and pinned together, I knew I had made the right choice. The fabric was so soft and stretchy, and the hexagon pattern was truly beautiful.
Since I only had three colors available, I sewed them together to make a soft brown color. The dress would be perfect for wearing in the fall and for winter sport games.
I used a double layer of cotton muslin for the lining, and it fit my daughter perfectly!
