Wavywebsurf created his channel on May 31, 2016. In the beginning, he made videos about various topics including the history of the internet in during the 2000's. Wavywebsurf also runs a series called "your merch sucks" where he looks at various YouTubers' merchandise stores and rates their merchandise. He often considers himself as PewDiePie's cousin. He was given a shout out by PewDiePie with Felix calling him a "sub tier PewDiePie" which he took happily.
