He learned to use a sword and was skilled in the art of combat from a young age. He also learned that religion was a thing to be followed but not necessarily followed blindly.
Quintus' first military adventure was when he was only 14 years old. He was quickly promoted to the rank of Centurio and became a part of the Roman army under the command of Lucius Afranius. Quintus fought in a battle against the Germanic tribes and conquered a large amount of land for the Romans.
In his later years, Quintus became a Centurion in the Roman army and was given command of the Tenth Legion. As a Centurion he was always eager to learn more about his past and he often found himself researching the history of the Roman empire.
