Narrator personality type is ISFJ, which is basically the polar opposite of ENFJ. ISFJ narration is characterized by a warm, caring, and sociable nature. Nearly every ENFJ narrator I have ever known has been an ISFJ narrator. It’s not that they don’t care about others, they do, it’s just that they don’t think of themselves as being different. They are often very accepting of differences and quite empathetic to others. ISFJ narrators have a general tendency to find it difficult to understand why anyone would want to be any other way than they are. This is not to say that ISFJs are not capable of strong emotions, because they certainly are. It is just that they tend to express their emotions in a more muted way. They tend to express their emotions in a more subdued way than those who are more extroverted. It is for this reason that ISFJs are often the most understanding and compassionate of all narrators.
ISFJ Narrators tend to be very attentive listeners and will often notice things others might miss or overlook. They are quick to pick up on the subtle nuances of interpersonal relationships.
