Nagumo is a very laid-back person who cares little for others' opinions, as he normally does not listen to what others have to say. He is also very mischievous, as shown when he stole all the goldfish in the Kyojin clubroom. He is also very sarcastic, as shown when he told Jiro about how he had no friends. Nagumo also cares little for others' feelings, as he tried to kill Jiro's dog, because it was annoying him. Nagumo has a lot of confidence in himself, as seen when he tried to talk to the Emperor of Darkness without asking anyone for help. However, unlike most INTPs, Nagumo does not appear to be very intelligent in school, as he is very lazy and attends classes only to get out of them.
It is shown that Nagumo likes to wear a T-shirt every day and he also likes to wear a cap and sunglasses when in public. However, when in private, he prefers to wear formal clothes such as a suit and tie.
