I had the honor of meeting with Andy Williams, a 16 year-old girl who had been on the verge of suicide for about 3 years. She was a beautiful girl, with a great family and supportive friends. One day she decided to take her life.
After interviewing her, I discovered that she had been bullied more than anything in her life. She had known two other girls who had tried to end their lives as well. Both of these girls were bullied on a daily basis because they were different than everyone else.
