Janet personality type is ISTP, Realistic, and Introverted Thinking with some Perceiving mixed in.
I’m not entirely convinced this is accurate (more on that later) but I’ve seen a few people take this personality type and make it their own. I won’t say “wrong” here but it’s worth noting.
I’ll try and explain this a little further. They’re not true ISTPs, they have a few traits of ISTP (in this case, they have INFJ and INTJ), but using the ISTP description is not entirely accurate.
Information Gathering vs. Information Processing
ISTPs are not technically INFJs or INTJs. They’re ISTPs and their main functions are INFJ and INTJ. This is where it gets complicated.
There is no ISTP trait of gathering information; they don’t even gather it, really. They sort of “know what they want to know”, or at least they think they do, but they don’t do any sort of “data gathering” for themselves.
