It's so important for kids to see that it's okay to be different, that it's okay to be queer, that it's okay to be trans. Being trans is just like being cisgender — it's just a different way of being.
These transgender kids are often bullied and teased at school, and so for me it’s been so important for my son to see that there are people like him in the world, people who are going through what he’s going through.
