He is also very skilled in the technical aspects of battle and can be quite devious and manipulative. Anni is often a bit of a flirt; though he is friendly and has no intentions to take advantage of people, he does enjoy the social aspects of his position.

Anni is descended from the Krieger family, a long-standing clan of wolf-shifters in the region. He was also descended from a long line of hereditary Krieger hunters. It is unknown if he took after any of his ancestors in this respect, or if this bloodline runs purely through his mother.
Anni is one of three characters in the series who are both dedicated hunters and full-time students (the others being Haru and Hinoka).
