The Bookkeeper personality type is INFP, and INFJs are often said to be bookkeepers. It is clear from the evidence, however, that many INFJs function as Bookkeepers even though they are not actually Bookkeepers. It is equally clear that Bookkeepers are not necessarily INFJs. It is also clear that the terms Bookkeeper and Bookkeeper are not interchangeable, but in the following discussion I will use the term Bookkeeper to refer to the type of intuitive personality who functions as a Bookkeeper.

They are often seen in schools, libraries, or bookstores, and if that task isn’t interesting enough for them, they will create an environment for themselves where they can focus on reading or studying. The tasks they perform are usually related to the things they enjoy. If they prefer reading to playing sports, they will focus on reading.
